The West Des Moines Kiwanis Club is starting and sponsoring a Central Iowa High School Teen Film Festival. Submit your film by 5 p.m. CDT, Friday, Sept. 14! The festival will take place Sunday, Oct. 7, at the Staplin Performing Arts Center. Film screenings will run from 1:30-4:30 p.m., with the awards presentation at 5 p.m. There will be prizes for short films in three categories and an overall “Best of Festival” prize.
