How are local scholarships awarded?

By completing a common form, applicants become eligible for several local awards. Applicants are scored anonymously by trained volunteers serving on the awards committee. Applicants receive points for a variety of qualities, including academic record, school and community involvement, educational objectives, work experience and financial need. In this way, the selection process is objective and non-discriminatory, making scholarships available to a wide range of deserving students planning on attending an accredited post-secondary institutions.
