COVID-19 Tracking Changes
The following adjustments to our RTL plan take effect Tuesday, Jan. 18.
Because WDMCS received hundreds of free COVID-19 test kits, both students and employees can now receive a kit.
These kits are to be used at home and mailed to a testing facility to receive results. These kits are not to be returned to any WDMCS building. Central Iowa testing locations will be frequently shared with families and staff. WDMCS is not allowed to independently administer tests.

- Elementary students will no longer have assigned tables in the cafeteria. All volunteers, athletes, spectators, and visiting teams are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to wear face masks indoors, but are no longer required to wear them.
- Elementary administrators do not need to submit proposals to Superintendency for approval to schedule assemblies, field trips, concerts, or other events.
- Students who are CURRENTLY enrolled in Edgenuity, a third-party, state-approved online learning system, can choose to continue with this program for the second semester.
