Valley Vocalese Earns Outstanding Performance Award (05/31/2023)
May 31, 2023 | Valley High School's Vocalese Jazz Choir earned the Outstanding Performance Award in the "Downbeat Magazine" Annual Student Awards. Schools from across the nation submit recordings of performances for selection by the magazine each December. This was the ensemble's third consecutive year being honored.
"Downbeat" is a premiere jazz magazine, named Jazz Publication of the Year several times by the Jazz Journalists Association.
