How to Watch WDMCS Student Nash Roe Compete on Food Network’s ‘Kids Baking Championship’ (1/16/23)

Jan. 16, 2023 | Last summer was extra sweet for Indian Hills Junior High eighth-grader Nash Roe, who spent his break filming for the Food Network’s eleventh season of “Kids Baking Championship.” Now, you can watch him showcase his culinary talents as he competes against other young bakers for the chance at $25,000.

Throughout the ten-week competition hosted and judged by Valerie Bertinelli and Duff Goldman, Nash competed with 11 other young entrepreneurs in business-oriented challenges that tested the contestants' business savvy as well as their baking skills.

Nash isn’t new to the kitchen – or business world – though. He's been cooking and baking "ever since (he) was born and could hold a spoon," and founded his own company, Nash’s Confections, in 2020, with his signature “Cinna-Roe” cinnamon rolls. He even has an Iowa State Blue Ribbon win under his belt for his pecan pie cheesecake

Through the first few episodes of the show, which debuted Dec. 26, 2022, the bakers whipped up their bestselling desserts, sweet mash-ups, and logo cakes, the latter of which earned Nash and his team immunity after being named the top treat by the judges.

You can follow Nash and his "Kids Baking Championship" journey on Monday nights at 7 p.m. on Food Network, online, and on social media at @nashs.confections
