Access Homelessness Resources
A child or youth experiencing homelessness is someone from ages 3 to 21 who doesn't have a stable place to live. This includes:
- Living with others (like family or friends) because they lost their home or have money problems.
- Staying in a motel, hotel, or camping place because there's nowhere else to go.
- Being in a shelter or abandoned in a hospital.
- Having a main place to sleep that's not meant for people to live.
- Living in a car, park, bad housing, or other places not fit for living.
- A migratory child or youth who's homeless due to these situations.
This also covers youth who ran away or had to leave home. To help these kids enroll in school, certain steps will be taken by the coordinator.
