Crestview School of Inquiry will add a Spectrum Light Table to its Makerspace, thanks to teacher-librarian Ann Reynolds. Reynolds applied for and won a $1,000 One Classroom at a Time grant from Local 5 and Bankers Trust. Representatives from both organizations surprised Reynolds and some of her students with the news on Friday, Jan. 19.

“I couldn’t be more excited for our kids to add this to our library!” Reynolds said in an email. “(It) will be a centerpiece in our library to facilitate STEAM learning for all ages.”

Private donations and instructional supply funds will supplement the grant used to purchase the table.
