Due to deteriorating weather, West Des Moines Community Schools buses taking high school and elementary students home will be delayed by approximately 20 minutes, Tuesday, May 28. Schools will also hold any students planning to walk home for the same amount of time. Parent/guardians can pick up their children at any time.
WDMCS Transportation Services will be communicating with the families of affected bus riders directly. If the weather does not clear within 20 minutes, as predicted by the National Weather Service, we will communicate any further schedule changes as needed.
