The Board of Education approved the 2025-26 calendar on Monday, Jan. 27, 2025. Here are the dates you need to know:

• Aug. 12-15: New Teachers Report, New Teacher Preservice

• Aug. 18-22: Teacher Inservice/Professional Development
• Aug. 25: School begins for K-12                                                
• Sept. 1: Labor Day — No School                                                
• Sept. 2: School begins for Tiger Cubs Preschool                                                
• Oct. 13^: No School for PK-12 Students (Junior High Conferences)                                                
• Oct. 31^: No School for PK-12 Students                                                  
• Nov. 3^: No School for PK-12 Students (Elementary Conferences)                                                
• Nov. 26-28: Fall Break — No School                                                
• Dec. 22-Jan. 2: Winter Break                                                
• Jan. 5: Classes Resume                                                
• Jan. 15: End of First Semester                                                
• Jan. 16: No School for PK-12 Students (Full Teacher-Directed Day)                                                
• Jan. 19: Martin Luther King Jr. Day — No School         
• Jan. 20: First Day of Second Semester                                                
• Feb. 13^: No School for PK-12 Students (Junior High Conferences)                                                
• Feb. 16^: No School for PK-12 Students (Elementary Conferences)

~ Days will be added at the end of the year if we do not meet the required 1,080 hours due to school cancellations.  

^ Teacher inservice on Oct. 13 and 31, Nov. 3, Feb. 13 and 16, April 17, and June 3 includes six hours of professional development and two hours of teacher-directed time.
