The WDMCS curriculum is based on solid, successful, and researched ideas from the past but also changes with the present. Teachers use ideas and skills that match the technology and culture of today and the needs of students.

- University of Florida Literacy Institute and Really Great Reading (to support intervention)
Secondary
- Literacy curriculum resources for grades 7-12 are not derived from any publisher. All curriculum is developed by licensed English Language Arts teachers, and grounded within the State of Iowa standards.

Grades 9-12
