Summer School Classes

High School Summer School at Walnut Creek Campus

• Dates: June 27-July 29, 8-10:30 a.m. 
• Location: Walnut Creek Campus, 1020 8th St., West Des Moines, IA 50265
• Cost: $225 per class/in-district and $275 per class/out-of-district*
  *Priority is given to in-district students

• To assist with course completion, we provide quality teachers, individualized attention, smaller class sizes, and flexible pacing within our school calendar. Students may enroll in one or two classes for make-up or original credit.
  
  ALL students must have their registration form signed by their counselor (for make-up credit) or associate principal (for original credit) prior to starting summer school. Each class will be equivalent to one semester credit. We recommend that students signing up for math only sign up for one semester of math for the summer session. Each class will need to have a minimum of 12 students enrolled, or the class will be canceled. Once the class reaches 15 students, students will be placed on a waiting list or in a different section (if available).

High School Summer School at Valley High School 

• Dates: June 6-24, 8-11 a.m.
• Location: Valley High School, 3650 Woodland Ave., West Des Moines, IA 50266
• Cost/Registration: This program is free and by invitation only. Valley High School and Valley Southwoods identified and contacted students who have a few standards, units, or tasks to complete in order to gain credit for a course.

Junior High Stretching Minds

• Dates: 8-11 a.m., M-Th, June 6-30
• Location: Valley High School, 3650 Woodland Ave., West Des Moines, IA 50266
• Cost/Registration: This program is free and by invitation only. Indian Hills and Stilwell junior highs identified and contacted students who qualify.
