ACT Boot Camp

  • Are you getting ready to take the ACT test and would like to be better prepared? During this ACT Boot Camp, students will learn both general and specific strategies to overcome the tricks and traps of the test. The ultimate goal of this course is to help students increase their overall score. Students will be engaged with two-way material, real-life examples, and short quizzes to test newly learned concepts from the English, Math, Reading, Science, and Writing Sections. Not all dates are required, but participating in them along with taking the actual test just 3-5 weeks after the class will maximize retention.

To get the most out of ACT Boot Camp we encourage you to: (these are not required)

    • Take the mock test that will be held before the ACT Boot Camp, as a baseline to gauge progress.
    • Participate in the follow-up session held a couple of weeks after the ACT Boot Camp for a tune-up.
    • Arrive at the follow-up session with an assigned practice test.
    • Register for the next official ACT test, taking place a few weeks after the ACT Boot Camp.

This course is taught by Greg Hudson, Valley High School AP History Teacher and ACT expert. The cost includes the boot camp, all materials, the optional mock test, and the follow-up session.
