New Families Tiger Access

Thank you for enrolling your student for the 2019-20 school year. Please review additional steps you may need to take to prepare of the coming school year based on the school/grade of your student.

Schools are assigned based on the student’s home address. If you are unsure which school your child should attend, check the district boundary map. You may also call the district registrar at 515-633-5101 to learn which area school your child will attend. Kindergarten through third grade are limited to 26 students per classroom and grades 4-6 are limited to 28. Because of this, some of our elementary buildings do get full. If a neighborhood school is full, a newly enrolled student may be assigned or “capped-out” to another elementary building. Students who are capped-out receive free transportation.
