Description: In collaboration with local partners, the Insect Expo is a FREE celebration featuring live insects and interactive displays where entomologists connect with the Greater Des Moines community to inspire curiosity and discover the value of insects in our lives.  Activities include:  • Live insects and arthropods • Hands-on microscope and specimen activities • Insect-themed arts & crafts • Educational materials from entomologists • STEM activities hosted by student groups and community partners
