Description: Planet 7 aims to socially and emotionally prepare incoming 7th graders for junior high. Planet 7 leaders will assist middle school students with this transition by leading a group of 6–8 students. In their small groups, leaders will share details of their own junior high experiences, engage their teams in activities, monitor student safety, model good behavior and a positive attitude, and answer students’ questions. Planet 7 leaders will participate in all field trips with their teams and will earn Silver Cord hours for their work.
