West Des Moines Community Schools (WDMCS) students and families will connect through student artwork at the district's Impact of Art event on Thursday, March 28 from 5-7 p.m. Students in grades K-12 will exhibit their art at the Learning Resource Center and celebrate the importance of arts education with their families and other guests.

March is Youth Art Month which the Council for Art Education established to encourage support for quality school art programs. It highlights and recognizes skills developed through visual arts experiences including problem-solving, creativity, observation, and communication. This year’s theme is "Dream in Art."
