Residents and taxpayers within the West Des Moines Community School district boundaries are invited to attend a public hearing regarding the proposed property tax levy for the 2027 fiscal year at 5:15 p.m. Monday, April 13 at the Learning Resource Center in West Des Moines.
At the public hearing, members of the community may present oral or written objections to, or arguments in favor of the proposed tax levy. After the hearing of the proposed tax levy, the WDMCS Board of Education will publish a notice and hold a hearing April 27 on the proposed budget.
