Valley High School Drama presents "Into the Woods" April 24-26 at the Staplin Performing Art Center.
Directed by Valley Drama Director Aaron Westrum, James Lapine and Steven Sondheim’s fairy tale retelling follows a Baker and his Wife who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his Wife set off to break the Witch's curse, the characters' journey's intersect. Everyone's wishes are granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results.

All performances at Staplin Performing Arts Center, Valley High School, 3650 Woodland Ave., West Des Moines. Tickets cost $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors.
