There are no after-school activities for West Des Moines Community Schools Thursday, Feb. 19, due to severe weather conditions. 

For students and parents, this announcement means:

• No after-school activities will be held. This includes conferences, concerts, practices and clubs, including junior high After the Bell.
• Kids West child care will close at 5 p.m. Families are encouraged to pick up students as soon as possible.
• No other Community Education classes, activities, and programs will be held. This includes LEARNwest and Adventures classes, and all facility use. All Community Education programs and services follow the decision of WDMCS for weather-related closings.
