  • Looking for a space for an upcoming event or gathering?

    WDMCS is proud to make district buildings available to the community when they are not in use by school activities. Community groups regularly use the eight elementary schools, two junior highs, and two high school buildings, as well as the homeschool program building, alternative high school building, administrative building, stadium, and Tiger Field.

    Available spaces: gyms, cafeteria, auditorium, media center, classrooms

    Valley Southwoods Freshman High School

    Available spaces: gym, cafeteria, media center, classrooms (pods)

    Valley High School

    Available spaces: field house, north gym, pool, Staplin Performing Arts Center, cafeteria, forum, commons, Tiger Field/Track (turf and track facility)

    Valley Stadium

    Available spaces: turf field, event center

    Learning Resource Center

    Available spaces: community room, conference rooms

    Please note that each conference room has a projector and screen. Community room has sound capability as well as a basic A/V system.

  • Pricing and Payment Information

    View our fee schedule for hourly facility rental rates and additional fees, as applicable. For one-time usage, payment is required prior to use. For ongoing or season-long usage, coordinate with the facilities office for a payment plan; deposit required. Check, cash, and credit cards are acceptable forms of payment. Payments can be sent by mail or made in person to WDMCS Community Education, Attn. Facility Use, 3550 Mills Civic Parkway, West Des Moines, IA 50265 or by phone at 515-633-5060.
