Kids West is open each day school is in session, Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. until school starts and after school until 6 p.m.

Early Dismissals

Child care for scheduled early dismissal days is included in the weekly fees. The exception is kindergarten early dismissal at the beginning of the school year, which costs an additional $5 per day. Children must be enrolled in Kids West before- and after-school care to use kindergarten care.

No School Days and School Breaks

Full-day care is available for participants from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. during teacher in-service days, parent-teacher conference days, selected days during winter break and each day of spring break. Day camp is also held in schools throughout the district. Site locations vary each summer based on building availability.

Summer

Kids West Summer Day Camp is offered during the summer months to all WDMCS students who have completed grades K-6. Day Camp is open from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., five days a week.
