Central Buying Consortium Notice of Request for Proposal (RFP)

The Central Buying Consortium invites offers to submit proposals to furnish the following: Food and Supplies Contract for the initial term of January 1, 2019 through July 31, 2019 with the option to renew for up to 4 one year terms. The estimated dollar value of awarded contract is $7,000,000 annually. This will include delivery to 12 Districts including West Des Moines, Central Decatur, Johnston, Norwalk, Clarke, Village Daycare, Marshalltown, Southeast Warren, Montezuma, Grinnell, Oskaloosa and Pella with multiple school delivery sites and be the prime vendor for these schools/districts.

Proposals must be received by the Director of Nutrition Services, West Des Moines Schools at 3550 Mills Civic Pkwy West Des Moines IA 50265 up until 1:00 P.M. CST, Dec 11th 2018 at which time and place proposals received will be logged for evaluation. Late proposals will not be accepted.

Required Attendance at Pre-Proposal Meeting; organizations who intend to submit proposals are required to attend the pre-proposal meeting on November 13th 2018 at 2: 00 P.M. CST, at the following location: 3550 Mills Civic Pkwy West Des Moines IA 50265. Only those organizations that have submitted a responsive proposal and attended the required pre-proposal meeting will be considered in the evaluation of proposals.
