The Better Boardsmanship Awards are given to individual board members, board teams, and administrators who dedicate time and work to learning, advocacy, leadership, and service projects to expand their knowledge and skills for better governance each year. The Individual Achievement Award was presented to 57 school and area education agency board members this year.

The WDMCS Board of Education is made up of seven individuals elected at-large by residents of our district community. The members represent the parents and citizens of our community, set policy for the school district, determine the operational efficiency of the schools, and more.
