Valley Concession Parent Pool
We are implementing a Parent Pool for concession stand shifts. This is a list of parents who would like to work an extra shift to help fill in when there is a need. The need could be a result of a volunteer cancellation or a sport rep requires another parent volunteer OR the most common reason is . . . it is a lot of fun to work at a concession stand!! Many times a parent is happy to fill in with other parents of their child’s friend or a neighbor. There's no better way to stay connected than to be at the football stadium, the gym or out at the baseball/softball fields, working a shift, when your child is there anyway watching the event. It's a perfect way to show how important it is to give back to the community AND help the Boosters gain revenue for your child’s sport.
If you would like to sign up to work an extra shift, let us know! You can designate fall and/or winter and/or spring/summer…whatever fits your schedule! You can pick the day and shift time! Doesn’t get any better than that.
Email or call any of the VTBC Board members to learn more about it. The high school yearrs go by so fast, so take advantage of the days and enjoy the fun!! When you support your athlete, you are supporting the Valley Tiger Booster Club. We all benefit!!

| Alumni Concession Stand Volunteers
We will also be implementing this year - the Alumni Concession Stand Volunteer. Remember those days working in the concession stands???
This is how it works! The Valley community naturally wants to keep in touch with all former athletes and their parents and there's no better way for everyone to keep in touch than to get everyone together now and then to volunteer at a concession stand!! We are sure you remember those times working the concession stand . . . at the stadium, at the school and it was really a lot of fun! Such a great way to stay connected! This could also be a way for many of you to get together with past parents from your child's sport that you haven't seen for a while or talked to, a "mini reunion" of sorts. The "shift" could be any sport, any group, any grade, just whatever works!! AND...we can give you some dates that are available at the stadium, at the high school, shift times...whatever works for you! Think about it, it would be fun working in the concession stand one more time, wouldn't it??
OK, now that we have told you how it will work...time to SPREAD THE NEWS if you will! Let us know your thoughts, how we can help you to get more parents from your child's grade, their sport, involved. We are sure many of you know others that have had children graduate from Valley and would love to join in and do this! If just YOU want to do it, that is great, too... . . . we have a spot for you. We are just happy to have you back, individually or as a group!
The Valley community is what it is today because of all that has been done by others yesterday and we would love to have you come back and volunteer one more time...and if you have a great time, we'd love to have you do it again!
