Students and teachers at Stilwell Junior High began an anti-bullying club called Y.E.S. (Youth Empowering Students) in the fall of 2012. The objective of the club is to educate seventh and eighth grade students about what bullying is and how it can be eliminated in school. The Y.E.S. club members promote awareness of anti-bullying at student assemblies and participate in random acts of kindness throughout the school year. Additional activities include a National Anti-Bullying Week. Students involved in Y.E.S. market the club with posters and t-shirts. Any student at Stilwell Junior High is welcome to join the club and attend meetings which are held regularly every two to three weeks in room # 1309 after school.
