UPDATE: Students Compete in Archery at Summer Iowa Games

The Tiger Archery Club had a successful weekend at the the Summer Iowa Games in Ames.

In the High School Division Individual Robby Weissinger took home the gold medal in the male division, and Alina Husain took home the gold medal in the female division.  Weissinger scored a 285 out of 300, and Husain scored 278 out of 300.

In the Middle School Division Individual Riley Weissinger earned the gold medal in the male division, while Sarah Kuhlman took home the gold medal in the female division. Weissinger scored 292 out of 300, and Kuhlman scored 277.  Ella Bishop received the bronze medal in the female division with a score of 266.

In the Elementary School Division Individual, Jack Roush took home the bronze medal in the male division with a score of 233 out of 300. In the female division, Nyah Rieckoff received the silver medal with a score of 233 out of 300 and Tishara Slater took home the bronze medal with a score of 210.


 

This weekend 38 students in the Tiger Archery Club will be participating in the Summer Iowa Games.  The students, coached by Luis Suarez and Cheryl McConnell, range in age and will compete in the elementary, junior high, and high school divisions.  The team has been preparing together for the games for the past two weeks.
