West Des Moines Community Education is offering free computer use and internet access on Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Stilwell Junior High. Parents can set-up a personal e-mail account and track their child's progress on Infinite Campus.Help is available for basic computer operations. This reminder that Junior High students are not allowed to attend High School sponsored dances of any kind. This includes: Valley Southwoods dances, the 9-12 Homecoming Dance, the 9-12 Valentine's Dance, and any other High School dances scheduled throughout any school year in West Des Moines.

Attention 8th Graders……It’s Spirit Week! If you have your flip flops on today, make sure to get your ticket from your Tiger Time teacher, put your name on it and turn it in. Tomorrow is hat day. Don’t forget that there are great prizes including movie passes, Hollister gift cards and training at Champions. You need to be present at the party to win, so remember to get your tickets at lunch on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday for $6.00 or at the door for $7.00.
The media center will only be available for book check out and returns all this week.

“Hollywood” is the place to be on May 16, 7-9 pm. Dance with DJ Tudor!!! Run the Obstacle course. Sprint in the Bunge Run or be an American Gladiator. Compete with your friends on DDR! There are games, food, raffle prizes, and photo ops! Come and have some fun!!
Congratulations to the following drama class one-act plays that were selected to perform Monday, May 12 in the Drama classes' Night of One Act Plays: “Teen Angel”: Pallavi Aurora, Katie Baum, Denali Kannapel, Rio Maxwell, Blaire Shireman, Maria Sonntag, Nicole Sorensen and Natalie Wendl Cotton Girls”: Cassie Crose, Lauren Conzett and Haley Helverson. The evening will begin at 7:00 with Thespian Initiation and then Cotton Girls will perform first and Teen Angel will perform second. The whole evening will be over by 8:15 p.m., so have your rides here to pick you up then. There is no cost for Night of One Acts - so plan to attend!
