Terry is a graduate of Iowa State University and Georgetown University Law Center. Terry and his wife, Maureen, have three daughters: Nora, a 2006 graduate of Valley High School, is a senior at Iowa State University; Helen, a 2009 graduate of Valley, is a freshman at the University of Southern California; and Mary Frances, is a sophomore at Valley.

Tom is the Director of Risk Management & Safety for the Bratney Companies. He has three daughters, Christine a 2002 graduate of VHS and a 2006 graduate of the University of Iowa; Jackie, a 2005 VHS graduate and a 2009 graduate of Simpson College and Becky, a graduate of VHS and currently a freshman at Loras College. Tom grew up in Van Meter, IA and attended Washburn University in Topeka, KS. His wife, Mary Kay, grew up in Fort Dodge, IA, graduated from the Univ. of Iowa and is a nurse with Iowa Health Homecare-Intrust. He belongs to several industry organizations, has served on the Walnut Creek YMCA Board of Directors, has coached various youth sports and sings in his church choir. He and his family have lived in the district since 1987. Tom serves on the Facility & Finance and the Human Resources committees.

Mark is the executive vice-president of LaMair Mulock Condon Company. He serves on the Facility and Finance and Policy Committees for the Board of Education. He is a graduate of the University of Iowa, and holds an MBA from Drake University. Mark and his wife, Holly, have two daughters: Elyse is a 2007 Valley graduate and attends Georgetown University. Anna is a junior at Valley.

Jill is Vice President/Chief People Officer for West Bank, and also serves as Executive Director of the West Bancorporation Foundation. She is a graduate of Northwestern University and the University of Iowa College of Law. Jill and her husband, Rich (a 1973 Valley graduate), have three children: Laura, a 2002 Valley graduate, and 2006 graduate of Northwestern University; Allison, a 2005 Valley graduate and a senior at Northwestern University; and Drew, a sophomore at Valley. Jill serves as the liaison for the West Des Moines Community Schools Foundation, and currently serves on the Facilities & Finance and Teaching & Learning committees.

Milton, an Episcopal Priest, assists his wife, The Reverend Mary Cole-Duvall at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church in West Des Moines. Milton and Mary have three children. George is a junior at Valley, Leah is a sixth grade student at Hillside Elementary and Mary-Scout is a forth grader at Hillside. Milton grew up in Virginia and has undergraduate studies at The College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia and also Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Milton has graduate degrees in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from The University of The District of Columbia in Washington, D.C.; a Masters of Divinity from The General Theological Seminary in New York City and additional studies in Higher Education from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He and his family moved to the district in 2005. In 2006, Milton was appointed to the Persons With Disabilities Commission by Governor Tom Vilsack. Milton serves on the Human Resources and Teaching and Learning committees.

Mark is Assistant General Counsel at Principal Financial Group. He is a graduate of Iowa State University and Drake Law School. Mark and his wife, Teresa, have three children: Justin, is in eighth grade at Stilwell Junior High School; Jared is in sixth grade at Western Hills; and Sarah is in fourth grade at Western Hills.

Elizabeth is a preschool teacher at Montessori Children's House in West Des Moines. She graduated from Valley High School and St. Olaf College. She earned her elementary teaching degree, with an ESL endorsement, from the University of Iowa and her International Diploma in Early Childhood Montessori teaching from the Montessori Centre International in London. Elizabeth and her husband, Scott, have two children: Lexi is at Stilwell Junior High and Joe is at Western Hills Elementary. Elizabeth is currently serving on the Policy and Human Resources committees.
