Plan to attend fall registration
at your child's school this August. If you are new to the
district, see details by grade level/school on the summer
registration process.
The principals work throughout the summer and are in and
out of the office and school buildings. If you know your
attendance center (schools are assigned based on your home
address), you can call the school
directly. Click here

>>Use the on-line registration form (THIS FORM IS FOR STUDENTS WHO ARE NEW TO THE DISTRICT) to pre-register your NEW student. Someone from the school district will reply within a few days.

The summer office hours are Monday through Friday from 7:15
a.m. to 1:15 p.m. If you plan to come around lunchtime,
be sure to make an appointment. The summer registration
is a two-step process.
- Visit the office, pick up a packet
of information and schedule an appointment with a Team
Leader.
- After you have looked over the information,
you will meet with the Team Leader to determine your child's
classes.

The Counseling Office is open until June 22 to register

Non or limited English speaking students new to the
district should register through the Welcome Center located
at Valley High School. Call (515) 633-4001 to schedule an
appointment.
During the summer, make appointments
by calling Joanne McIntyre at (515) 633-5066.
Iowa law requires that all students must be immunized against
diptheria, pertussis (whooping cough), tetanus (DPT), polio,
rubeola and rubella (measles) before entering school. Three
Diphtheria/Pertussis/Tetanus vaccinations are required ~ one
after age 4 if your child was born on or before
September 15, 2000. Four Diphtheria/Pertussis/Tetanus vaccinations
are required ~ one after age 4 if your child was born after
September 15, 2000.
Three hepatitis B vaccinations are required
if the student was born on or after July 1, 1994.
At least one dose of Varicella vaccine is
required if the student was born on or after September 15,
1997 (reliable history of Chickenpox is also accepted).
A physical must be completed after age 4. Contact your school
nurse or physician if you have questions about immunization
requirements.
