| Students
and staff at all schools can enjoy breakfast and lunch using a computerized
lunch program called SNAP.
There are three types of accounts available for students to use to pay for their meals; Breakfast Account, Lunch Account and Cash Account.
- Breakfast Accounts may only be used to purchase breakfast meals. All carryover breakfast meals from June 2009 were converted to cash and are available in the student's cash account.
- Lunch Accounts may only be used to purchase lunch meals. All carryover lunch meals from June 2009 were converted to cash and are available in the students cash account.
- Cash Accounts may be used to pay for breakfast, lunch and a la carte purchases (including Tiger Perk purchase at Valley).
- Money will be deposited into the Cash Account unless LUNCH Account is written on the check.
- Each purchase (breakfast, lunch, or a la carte) is automatically recorded and deducted from the students account balance.
- Secondary students use their student ID card to access their account. Lost or damaged cards should be reported to the school office and lunch clerk immediately. Fees will apply for card replacement.
- Charging is not allowed at the secondary schools.
Students receiving free or reduced-price lunches follow the same
procedure above. The computer tracks all purchases – not even
the cashier knows the student’s eligibility status. It allows
eligible students one breakfast and one lunch per day.
Elementary students give their money to the teacher or to the school
secretary in the morning.
Junior and senior high students take the money
to the Lunch Clerk in the cafeteria before school each morning.
Pay Schools is an online payment option. CLICK HERE for more details.
