• One of the following current Iowa Licenses:
  • Teaching
  • Nursing
  • Substitute Teaching
• Current physical examination (Printable Form)
• Mandatory Reporters of Child/Dependent Adult Abuse Certificate (contact Human Resources at 633-5000)
• Hazardous Chemicals in the Workplace Certificate (contact Human Resources at 633-5000)
• Transcripts (copy of official transcript)
• Building & Specials Preference form

Substitute Information

For more than a full semester in the same assignment there will be the following fringe benefits:

• 50 percent of single hospital/major medical
• $5,000 term life insurance
• 5 paid sick days
• 3 days leave for death in immediate family
• 3 paid days leave for critical illness in the immediate family or critical business/emergency

*Substitute teachers and nurses are not entitled to and shall not receive a continuing employment contract pursuant to Iowa Code Section 279.15

With the notification, you will receive an ID number and instructions on how to register on the SubFinder System.
