The Carol Taggart Instructional Materials Center (IMC) is a resource center that is available to volunteers, educators and staff of the West Des Moines Community School District, educators of other school districts, nonprofit's, churches and daycares. All work must be education-based or for the benefit of the organization NOT personal. The only people that can use the facility for personal work are the staff and educators of the WDMCS district.

Resources
The IMC has curriculum resources, educational poster sets, audio-visual, presentation and classroom display equipment - and all the supplies to make those things happen! Some of the equipment includes:

• Full color poster printer
• Banner maker
• Heavy-duty & regular laminators
• Button makers
• Die cutting equipment
• Video-editing equipment
• Color laser printer & copier

Workshops
The IMC offers workshops throughout the school year that are free to WDMCS staff - all supplies are provided. Call the IMC at (515) 633-5050 to register for workshops.

Professional Library & Computer Lab
The Professional Library contains district reports and site improvement plans; professional education journals, books on teaching strategies and assessment, as well as staff development videos and training manuals. Materials may be checked out by WDMCS staff for use in the classroom or for training.
