Update through September 30, 2005
Some of the steel has arrived and several columns and a few beams have been set in the commons area. Restrooms for the east commons have walls laid. Mechanical mezzanine over this area has been set and the topping poured. Slab has been poured for the restroom floor, as well as a portion of the corridor in the east commons area. Work continues on the mechanical mezzanine and block work at the main entrance. This work should be complete soon. Concrete block for the southwest stair tower has been laid and work is underway on the southeast stair tower. Some of the under-floor plumbing for the restroom core in the 2-story building has been completed. Most footing pads have been poured, as have the majority of the perimeter foundation walls. Repair work on the field house wall continues with all the brick infill completed on the east side, nearly complete on the north side, and still a few spots on the south side to complete. Roof joists for the commons area are scheduled to be on site late next week.

Update through September 14, 2005
Work continues on footings in the southeast corner of the two-story, as well as some of the interior footings on the Commons Area. Masonry is underway on the south stair tower for the two-story, as well as interior walls for ELP and restrooms next to the Commons. Pre-cast has been set for mechanical mezzanines, both at the entrance and on the east end of the Commons. Final hook-up of the dust collector for the Woods Shop should be completed this week. A few steel columns have been set, with much of the steel scheduled to come on site next week. Tunnel top repair is also underway in the areas beneath the new Commons. Main utility lines that run beneath the new sections have been installed. Some of the footings for the new fire sprinkler room have been poured, with the balance scheduled in the next few days. Work continues on repair of the field house walls and while it is not on the critical path schedule, this work has taken longer than anticipated. Masonry has been laid back on exterior pool walls and the installation of the final few windows is underway. Cleaning and scrubbing of the pool area is now in process.
