1st floor – Most sheetrock hung and
the taping operation in process. HVAC in operation, although
not fully under control in the entire building. All interior
door and window frames installed, however, glazing still needs
to be completed.
2nd floor – Prime and first coat paint
nearly complete, corridor tile all in place, and floor grinding
underway in art classrooms. HVAC duct work continues in the
hallways. Ceiling grid installed in certain classrooms. Bathroom
floor and wall tile set and grouting underway. Corridor floor
tile in process with south, west, and north areas set.
Occupancy scheduled for 1C by Winter Break,
if not sooner.
1B (Infill of Tiger Court &
area between Field House and existing building)
Commons & infill – Work virtually complete in this
area with a temporary Certificate of Occupancy. Final CO to
be issued once exit lighting can be observed after all furniture,
fixtures, and equipment has been installed in the Media Center.
That move into 1B is scheduled for mid-July.
All on target for opening 1B when school
starts.
Field House
While work in the field house is being done directly by the
District, all the old bleachers have been removed as has the
original floor. The underlayment for the new wood floor is
being installed and the finish boards are being acclimated
to the temperature and humidity for that area.
Kitchen Air Conditioning
Work has started on this summer project and is on target for
completion before school starts late this summer.
