Update through June 24, 2005
Demolition contractor has all of the old mechanical room demolished and is now routing out the existing foundations. That work should be complete by the end of the weekend so that grading and footing work can commence next week. Work continues on the repair of the fieldhouse walls with the south side all open for repair and work ongoing now on the east side. Demolition of the ramp from Tiger Court to the main east/west corridor has taken place and demo is underway on the room that will be the new multimedia room so that the floor can be raised to match the new floor level in that area. All demo work is complete in the new woods lab and masonry wall is being installed for the dust collector room. Site changes in the northwest corner are also underway with the necessary concrete having been removed and the relocation of several trees. Sprinkler and electrical work is underway in the west section of the building.

Update through June 15, 2005
Work on the Phase 1A portion is virtually complete with final punch items being handled. The major item still being pursued is the source of the periodical electrical outages. The contractor has replaced the main breaker that continues to trip and is in the process of megging all lines installed under Phase 1A to see if that could be the source of the problem. Demolition has started on the existing mechanical area enclosure and is underway inside the existing building in the new wood shop area. Work is also underway on the exterior of the fieldhouse walls to make the necessary repairs so that this area will be in sound condition since it abuts new construction on two sides. As soon as demolition of the old mechanical area is completed, grading and dirt work will commence.
