Choices for the Future was a way for the community
to come to a concensus on how to improve Valley High School through
use of the One-Cent Sales Tax. This
decision would modify the improvements in the 10-Year
Facility Plan. The discussions and meetings took place during
the 2001-02 school year.

Documents concerning enrollment, participation, student-teacher
staffing ratios, class size, curriculum, etc. were generated by
a subcommittee of the Design Down Committee. The following documents
are classified under one of three main categories:
Residents of
the West Des Moines Community School District were asked to offer
feedback on a list of items related to high school programming and
services. Survey respondents offered their opinions on the level
of importance and their level of satisfaction with each of the items
on the list.
