Construction on Hillside Elementary, 713 Eighth St., West Des Moines, began Spring of 2003 and was completed during the summer of 2004.

Hillside Elementary opened up the Fall of 2004 and the former Clegg Park and Rex Mathes students now attend this new K-6 building.
