Update through July 29, 2005
Demolition continues in selected areas inside. Preparation on the front of the building for the new bump-out for Kindergarten room as well as the bump-out for the relocated office. South play equipment has been removed in preparation for expansion of the parking lot. Mechanical and electrical work inside just commencing.

Update through July 22, 2005
Existing boiler room has been gutted and work is underway on demolishing the old HVAC equipment, plumbing, and electrical. The project is still primarily in the demolition stage as opposed to the “put it back together” stage.

Update through July 15, 2005
All asbestos work is complete and mechanical and electrical contractors are on site scoping out their work and starting preliminary efforts. The site has been fenced. Kick-off meeting with contractors early the week of 7/18 and serious work will start immediately thereafter.

Update through July 7, 2005
Work is winding up on the asbestos removal. Electricians and dirt contractor should be on site the week of 7/11. Construction fencing being installed.

Update through July 1, 2005
Asbestos abatement continues and should be done shortly after the Independence Day holiday. Most of the asbestos containing material on the exterior has been removed and the area covered with plastic. The abatement is almost complete on the east part of the building and continues on the west end.
