Construction on the addition and remodel of Clive Elementary School, 1600-73rd Street in Windsor Heights, began in June 2004 and was completed during the summer of 2005.

Monthly reports are posted on the construction at Clive, along with occasional photos.

Clive Elementary re-opened in the Fall of 2005.

Clive students and staff were housed at the former Clegg Park Elementary School located at 1020-8th Street in West Des Moines during the 2004-2005 school year. The school was known as Clive South.
