Update through February 25, 2005
In the south addition, most prime painting is complete and the ceiling grid and lay-in lights are installed. Tile work is underway in bathrooms for this addition. Painting is also underway in the existing building. The northwest addition is fully enclosed now and the roof is in place. The walls have been framed in the lower level. The stairwell at the east end of this addition is currently being installed. Sheetrock work has also started on the lower level. Interior wall framing and duct work are underway on the upper level. Most sprinkler piping has been run. The steel support for the canopy on the east end of the northwest addition has been set. Infill block work is nearly completed. Work has started on thinning trees across the creek – this is the area that will be accessed by the new bridge (which will be bid in March).

Update through February 11, 2005
Prime painting has been completed in the southeast addition and has been started in selected areas of the existing building. Ceiling grid for classrooms and ceramic tile in the restrooms is scheduled to start next week. Work will take place in rooms first and corridors last. In the northwest addition, all roof deck is now installed. Approximately 70% of the roof membrane has also been installed. All floor slab has been poured on the 1st first floor with still some remaining on the second level. The metal studs have started at the lower level as has duct work for mechanical. Windows for the lower level have been installed and are scheduled to be installed on the upper level soon. Plumbing and electrical is ongoing. Masons are finishing the enclosure on the west end and should be done early next week. We are getting close to having this addition dried-in and then we will be able to do more of the finish. Sprinkler work has started in the gymnasium.

Update through February 4, 2005
Drywall in the new south addition has been hung and taped. Painting is scheduled to start soon. Some drywall and taping in the south portion of the existing building has taken place. Concrete block walls are complete for the north wall of the northwest addition and steel roof joists have been installed. Also, a good portion of the roof deck for the northwest addition has been installed and some roofing has been installed, particularly over the south bay of this addition. Another portion of the second floor slab has been poured, as well as another portion at the lower level. One pour left on the lower level and it will be complete. Duct work is now being installed in the lower level. Interior walls are scheduled to be started the week of February 7 in the lower level and installation of the windows in both levels of the northwest addition will begin soon. Sprinkler work is underway in the gym.
