Though
most responses that referred to a city referred to West Des Moines,
the Community Education Advisory Council feels that most responses
could apply to all the western communities served by our district.
- People like our community.

programs and services are of high quality as are our leaders.
- Our community is safe and clean.
- The school system is highly respected and
continually strives to meet student needs.
- There are a wide variety of programs and services
to support our family-oriented culture and to engage senior citizens.
- Networking and collaboration is high among
the city, schools, businesses and agencies.
- Communication is adequate.
- Leaders are accessible.
Citizens also recognize and appreciate the growing
diversity of our population. Maintaining values, building relationships
and continuously improving community are important.
