Shake off those winter blues and come get ready for spring with this make and take project! Make an annual planter basket perfect for your table or front porch. Learn how to plant annuals, how to treat diseases/insects and how to choose plants for different conditions. No floral or planting experience necessary! Class will be taught in a step-by-step process and also allow you to go at your own pace. Pre-registration is required, no walk-ins. Please bring a trowel and gloves to dig in the dirt. Creating a garden design can be both rewarding and challenging. With a little advance planning, you can create a beautiful home landscape that lasts for  many years. It’s nice when your garden stands out amongst the others in your neighborhood. This class will cover the basics of organizing the space within a residential landscape, how to brainstorm possible design ideas considering aesthetics and function, and techniques to visually represent your landscape ideas. The container may be kept outside during the summer months and then brought indoors during the winter months. This class will cover the basics of adding water features to your landscape. We will take you through the process of site selection, design, materials, and maintenance.
