Chicometrics is a non-aerobic, deep muscle, toning program based on the concept that the deeper you go into a muscle, the faster toning takes place. This exercise is for anyone, any shape or age. Tone and strengthen muscles, lose inches and increase flexibility. Please bring an exercise mat. This room is carpeted. Register for both sessions and get a $10 discount. No class 10/1, 10/8, 11/26.

Fitness Yoga is a form of Hatha yoga, the most practiced form of yoga in the world. Learn the traditional poses in smooth, flowing, continuous motions. Sessions emphasize strength conditioning, relaxation and stress management. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a mat. Block and/or strap/belt are optional. Class open to beginning through intermediate levels. No class on 10/15.

Hula Hooping
Join us to explore the world of hula hooping. Hooping is a great way to exercise; it burns calories, improves coordination and enhances creativity. Hooping is low impact and FUN! In this six week course, participants will learn the fundamentals of hooping and how to expand hooping into their own movement practice. The instructor is a hoopnotica hoop dance instructor who incorporates in her classes the teaching styles/strategies of many of her own instructors.

GO! Senior Stott Chair Pilates
This is an exercise program that can enhance your flexibility, endurance, posture and strength by focusing on body awareness and movement. We will get our bodies warmed up and then move into a series of stretching and strength exercises using the entire body while sitting in a chair. You’ll have the option of working with a band or tube. We will conclude with balance and endurance exercises. This form of exercise can help you develop a body that resists injury and moves with ease. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a band or tube if you have one. All ages welcome.

This class combines the flowing movements of yoga with focus on the abdominal muscles to create a stronger, leaner body and core center. Focus will be on strengthening and toning the entire body and creating more balance, energy and strength throughout. The class will conclude with mind/body relaxation to provide a peaceful ending. Modifications are introduced so all levels are welcome. No class 10/20.
