KIDS WEST provides an affordable, enriching, well-supervised service for elementary school children (K-6) in the West Des Moines Community School District.

Mission
Our MISSION is to establish an enjoyable, enthusiastic environment that promotes creativity, guidance, mutual respect and interaction among children, parents and staff.

Hours
KIDS WEST is open each day school is in session, Monday through Friday, 6:30 to 8:50 a.m. and 3:40 to 6 p.m.

Early Dismissals and No Schools Days
Childcare for scheduled early dismissal days is also available and is included in the weekly tuition.

Full-day care is available for participants from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. during teacher in-service days, parent-teacher conference days, selected days during winter break and each day of spring break.

Summer Day Camp is available during the summer.

KIDS WEST is closed on the following holidays:

• Thanksgiving legal holidays
• Christmas legal holidays
• New Year legal holiday
• Memorial Day
• Fourth of July
