The West Des Moines Community School District has great facilities for community usage: full size gyms, community rooms, auditoriums, classrooms and conference rooms. Hundreds of community groups use the district facilities every year with peak winter times having over 200 groups in district’s facilities each week. The district welcomes community usage.

Checklist

(Make sure your group understands the following):

Plan Ahead – If you have special needs please reserved 48 hours in advance.

Follow Your Reservation Schedule - Please enter and exit the school, rooms, gym, etc., at the times on your reservation.

Cancellations – Cancel or change reservations by 2 p.m. two days prior to usage otherwise you will be charged.

Help – You are in charge of your group and their behavior.

Keep the School Clean - Leave it like you found it or even better. Please make sure you have cleaned all floor and table surfaces plus checked the restrooms for cleanliness. Excessive messes will be charged a clean-up fee.

Food and Drink – Refreshments are only allowed in the community room or cafeteria.

Alcohol and Tobacco Products – They are not permitted on school grounds.

Permit & Hold Harmless Agreement - Sign and return ASAP.
