The School Community Network (SCN) is an organization of parent volunteers, staff members and district administrators. Each school is represented on the SCN. Members share information about what is happening at their school, as well as districtwide information. The SCN exists purely for communication purposes and is not a decision-making group.

Meetings
Meetings are held at 9:15 a.m. every third Tuesday during the school year at the Learning Resource Center, 3550 Mills Civic Parkway, West Des Moines.

Objectives
To provide meetings for the provision of information K-12.

To provide a means for exchange of ideas and information among parent organizations representing the various levels.
