When WDMCS kindergartner Melayna came home from her first day of school, she said, “I can’t wait to go back tomorrow.” This is the reaction we at the WDMCS wish from all our students. Beginning in kindergarten, elementary school is a foundation of a child’s education. It is where they may first collect and organize data using tables and graphs, or successfully answer the question, “Where is Africa?”

With research-based strategies, our teachers introduce students to new skills and ideas, help them gain experience and master concepts, and then build on this knowledge as students grow and develop.

"The hopes and dreams for my kids are that they love to learn and that they want to become lifelong learners. I want them to be able to go out in the world, feel confident in themselves, and to do their best."
